Summer 2007 Projects

Hemlock FX & Post to Edit first BEANYWOOD Movie

As part of my commitment to build a better Boston/New England for filmmaking, I will be participating in the first Beanywood movie, Fog Off, produced by Midnight Chimes Productions. Fog Off is a fictional 3-minute informercial about a product that kills those pesky pheromones that attract the more seedier males. It should be hilarious!

Anime Songwriting Workshop

I have once again partnered up with longtime buddy and colleague, Matt Myers of 2eastmusic.com, to create the official Anime Songwriting Workshop homepage. The workshop, created by video game music composer, Matt Myers, is presented at otaku and gaming conventions as an opportunity for participants to write and produce a song from scratch and learn about how studio tracks are made. The site should launch by the end of July 2007, and will have the music from the workshops, a forum for discussion, and lots of other cool articles and info on gaming and otaku culture. You can check out what Matt has done so far over at 2eastmusic.com.

UPDATE: The site is now live at: www.animesongwritingworkshop.com

Center for Innovative Therapies (CFIT)

CFIT is a non-profit clinic being created in Santa Barbara, California, to help people who are at risk of or who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. The clinic will employ a comprehensive treatement program for its patients and their families dealing with this very difficult affliction. I have been working with the doctors and staff at CFIT and graphic designer, Michael Frederick, to launch a beautiful all-Flash web site. The site is currently in the final stages of development and will be launched this summer.

"Extraction" by the Chili Willy Posse

48-Hour Film Project - Boston

In May of 2007, a group of people who for the most part didn't know each other came together for 48 hours to create a Sci-Fi* film with the character Thea Quimby*, a shoelace*, and the line, "When you come up with something good, let me know."* We came up with a short film about tooth extraction.

You can watch the entire film on this site. Check out the page for credits and other information about the people who helped create it.

* - All required elements that we were assigned or picked randomly at the start of the project.
